Position Summary

As an Analytics Consultant, you will partner directly with clients to turn complex business questions into clear, data-driven answers. You will own analytics engagements end to end — scoping the problem, exploring and modelling the data, building dashboards, and presenting insights that drive real decisions. We are looking for a consultant with strong hands-on analytics skills who can also frame problems and tell a compelling story with data alongside senior stakeholders.

This role spans the full analytics lifecycle — sourcing and preparing data from diverse client systems, conducting analysis and building visualizations, and delivering actionable recommendations. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and strategy consultants to create measurable impact for clients across industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Partner with clients to understand business objectives and translate ambiguous problems into structured, analytical approaches.
  2. Source, clean, and analyze data from multiple systems to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive decisions.
  3. Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
  4. Apply statistical and quantitative methods to test hypotheses, quantify business impact, and support recommendations.
  5. Translate analysis into clear, compelling narratives and presentations tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
  6. Own delivery of analytics workstreams end to end — managing scope, timelines, stakeholder expectations, and quality.
  7. Define and track KPIs and success metrics that connect analytics outcomes to client business goals.
  8. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of insights through rigorous validation and documentation, and mentor junior analysts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

    • At least 4–5 years of experience in analytics, data consulting, or business intelligence, ideally in a client-facing or consulting environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science; advanced degree a plus.
    • Advanced SQL skills for querying, joining, and transforming large and complex datasets.
    • Good knowledge of Python
    • Hands-on expertise with Tableau, Power BI
    • Solid grounding in statistics and analytical methods, including hypothesis testing, regression, segmentation, and forecasting.
    • Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytical solutions and clear recommendations.
    • Excellent communication, data-storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and the modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt) is a plus.
    • Exposure to A/B testing, marketing or customer analytics, and machine-learning concepts is a plus.
