EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION: INTERGRATING CLIMATE LITERACY INTO EDUCATION THROUGH ARCedtech

At Saarthee, we’re thrilled to share an inspiring milestone in our ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability and climate literacy into the core of education. Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to partner with the ARC team on a transformative journey across several US schools. Together, we conducted workshops aimed at nurturing climate literacy among the next generation of leaders. The curiosity, enthusiasm, and commitment of both the faculty and students were nothing short of uplifting, making this week one of the most impactful experiences of my career.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to my fellow founders, Anit Gupta and Ritu Malhotra, for their unwavering passion for this cause. It’s been an honor to collaborate with both of you on the Be the Change initiative. Anit, your minimalist lifestyle and dedication to climate action continue to inspire me – you’ve certainly challenged me to reflect on my own practices as a self-confessed cloth-lover. Ritu, your story of drawing inspiration from your son, who leads a minimalist life with just a single bag, resonated deeply with me. Moreover, your empowering presence as a fellow female entrepreneur has been a source of strength and motivation.

A big thank you also to Mrinal Prasad, our fourth entrepreneur in the group, whose presence perfectly complements our dynamic team, and Justin J. Harris, our anchor and connector, who’s made this journey even more impactful.

I would also like to give a special shoutout to Westtown School and Francine Locke, MS, whose dedication to sustainability continues to inspire everyone in the climate action community. The discussions, questions, and proactive approach from the faculty reinforced my belief in the immense power of knowledge as a catalyst for change. Personally, I’ve been exploring ways to reduce kitchen waste, and the idea of biogas systems shared during these workshops sparked some exciting new possibilities for me.

Through our partnership with ARC (ARCedtech), Saarthee is committed to embedding sustainable practices into educational curricula. By providing students with data-driven insights and real-world applications of climate science, we empower them to make informed decisions and take actionable steps toward environmental stewardship.

We are incredibly proud of the accomplishments from this past week and are excited for the future of our growing partnership with ARC. Together, we’re not only teaching about the world as it is but also inspiring a better, more sustainable world for the future.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact. If you’re interested in hosting a no-obligation workshop at your school or in your community, feel free to reach out to Anit and Ritu. They will be in the country until April 15 and would love to connect.

Let’s continue to drive change together!
