Position Summary

The Sales Manager is a pivotal role requiring a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the global market dynamics and the capabilities of the company. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and overall business success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Focus on acquiring new GCC (Global Capability Centers) business in India.
  2. Connect with Executive leadership in the prospect organization for understanding their business priorities for transformation.
  3. Works with other teams in the ecosystem to build the point of view/ solution for client.
  4. Present the solution and proposal to the client executive leadership.
  5. Create the commercial structure of the deal in collaboration with other stakeholders and conduct negotiations with customers for closing the deal.
  6. Conduct negotiations on and close contracts with customers.
  7. Track competitive activity, build plans to effectively counter it.
  8. Build relationships with internal teams to ensure the required support levels are obtained to close sales.
  9. Become a trusted and valued partner of the client CXO and team.
  10. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, trends, and products.
  11. Demonstrate financial stewardship in all interactions and existing relationship management, internally and externally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1.  Minimum 6 years of experience in the software Industry with experience in the sector of BFSI, Retail, Automotive, Media & Entertainment, Telecom etc.
  2. Prior experience in client acquisition in GCC (Global Capability Centers) area is a must.
  3. Prior experience in Tech selling is a must.
  4. Must have proven capability and experience in shaping up and closing large deals, capability to establish relationships with CXO-level stakeholders and the ability to interact and work effectively across all levels of the customer organizations.
  5. Open to Travel in India/APAC and EMEA as required.
  6. Experience of selling solutions to CXO level stakeholders.
  7. Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in business, marketing and sales or related field of study is preferred.
  8.  Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization.
  9. Ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently or within a team.
  10. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Good interpersonal skills
